The Nike Air Trainer 1 SP layered upper combines textile, synthetic nubuck, reflective accents, and translucent quarter panels. A lockdown strap runs across the forefoot, and the breathable mesh and lightweight nylon construction complement the aforementioned strap well. A series of curved strips around the toe, mid-foot, and around the heel introduce new, functional reflective capabilities to the 1987 design.
